An experiment to understand nature's opinion with translating software and electronic devices.

A 100 year old tree in Brussels has been given the means to talk and share its opinion about its surroundings. EOS Magazine in collaboration with Happiness Brussels have wired up the ‘Talking Tree' with instruments to measure the dust, light and weather patterns around it, along with a webcam and microphone to constantly measure its living conditions and translate all this information into human language with a MaxMSP software application. You can also friend the talking tree on Facebook and follow it on Twitter.
