Biocurious is a new project that is envisioned to be a collaborative lab space where amateurs in any discipline can come to learn, research and collaborate on developing innovative tools in the field of biotechnology. Currently set up in a modest garage, this non-profit project has been posted on Kickstarter to generate funds for an industrial space in Silicon Valley, a new lab, equipment and other expenses. It looks like a good opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs, fresh graduates and those wanting a career in biotechnology to get involved.
