The recycling of waste can be beneficial not only to the environment, but also to the economy. A recent study done by Friends Of The Earth suggests that over 50,000 more jobs would be created if the UK recycles 70% of its waste instead of dumping it into landfills and adds that recycling creates 10 times more jobs per ton.
