Drawing Robot Uses Sound For Inspiration

A DIY machine uses sound vibrations to make sketches.

Interactive sound artist Ranjit Bhatnagar’s Sketching Device #1 is an art machine that is able to draw pictures using sound. The device is made from acrylic, Teflon and speakers that transmit low-frequency vibrations through a writing surface to guide a pen in any direction to make sketches on the surface.
