Micro Video Projector Can Be Integrated Into Cellphones

A miniature projection device consumes less power than similar handheld projectors and promises to have applications in various fields.

A Swiss company called Lemoptix has created a remarkable tiny projector that uses miniature mirrors and reflect red, blue and green lasers to project VGA images onto a 15-inch screen. The company says its micro-device uses 30 percent less power than similar projectors and can be integrated in cellphones and could even prove useful in medical situations..
