An alternatively designed support product aims to offer better support and usability to patients.

Designer Jeff Weber, who helped create the Embody chair, has recently launched a new alternative crutch called Mobilegs. These mobility devices have been designed keeping in mind the comfort of users, as traditional crutches can be very uncomfortable. Mobilegs can be easily customized and come in two varieties-the ergonomically designed Universal and the extra plush Ultra, both with a comfortable pivot saddle that rotates according to body movements, offering easy adjustability and rocker feet that reduces exertion during the stride. It also uses 30% less aluminum than present-day versions, meaning a lighter weight and an energy savings during production.
