(Pics) A Glowing Cube Made From Hollow Aluminum Tubes
Heatherwick Studios' 'Sitooterie II' is intricately designed to glow through the night from a single light source.
The National Malus Collection in the UK had commissioned Heatherwick Studios to create a permanent structure on their grounds. And the result was this stunning cube structure made from over 5,000 hollow aluminum tubes, each one looking like a small window. The Sitooterie II, as it is called, contains a single light source at its center that emits light through all the tubes at night to make the windows glow.
