Bidoun Magazine's editor in chief talks about the many projects the publication is working on.

Bidoun Magazine started off as a publication covering Middle East arts and culture. It has seen recent growth as it became a not-for-profit and even opened a store in New York’s Lower East Side. We wrote a short post a year ago and now follow up with an interview with Lisa Farjam, Bidoun’s Editor in Chief and Founder.

What are you currently working on?

“We just opened the Bidoun Library at the New Museum in New York. The Bidoun Library debuted in Abu Dhabi in 2009, but has since traveled to Dubai, Beirut and now New York, adapting along the way to the particularities of its host and audiences. After New York, it will travel to Cairo to the townhouse gallery.”
