The FAA gives a propeller powered car a Special Light Sport Aircraft airworthiness certificate.

The FAA has given a Special Light Sport Aircraft airworthiness certificate to a vehicle that uses a large propeller and special parachute. This opens the possibility of production of the Maverick Sport by Itec which curiously originally developed the machine for missionary work.
