Gen Y Needs Wi-Fi

A new survey reveals just how much the young people of today are obsessed with connectivity and wireless technology.

A recent survey commissioned by the Wi-Fi Alliance, which saw participation from over 1000 young people (aged 17 to 29) in the US, China, Japan and South Korea, revealed how much wireless technology has gripped them. 75 percent of the American respondents admitted that a week without Wi-Fi would leave them grumpier than a week without coffee or tea. And its not just the youth in America; four-fifths of those surveyed in China confessed to spending more time on devices with wireless networking technology than watching television.
