MASS MoCA, one of the world’s largest centers for contemporary visual arts, will house a unique sculpture made entirely by robotics. Fredrico Diaz’s Geometric Death Frequency—141 contains over 400,000 black spheres assembled one by one without any human intervention, using CAD software and principles of physics to conceptualize the structure.
