The musical comedy-drama television series Glee has beaten The Beatles for the most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 among non-solo acts.  With seventy-five Hot 100 chart entries debuting on the US music singles popularity chart, Glee has taken over from the sixties British rock-group who have seventy-one charted titles.
