It is well known that the iPhone is the gadget of choice for many adults and teenagers. But as the New York Times reports, it seems to have become the Toy of Choice for kids as young as 1 year old. Thanks to its easy to use functionality, catchy looks and several apps aimed at toddlers, the iPhone has replaced toy cars, books and Legos for these young kids who can barely speak, but are able to operate the basic functions on the phone. And the parents? Most of them are only too happy have their kids fiddle with their phone, which is both a toy and a pacifier for them.
