For the past one year, Gabriel Nderitu of Kenya has been building a homemade aircraft at his home. With no background in aviation technology, Nderitu relied on the Internet for his research and pumped his own money into the ambitious project to build a plane from scratch. Powered by a Toyota engine, this two-seater aircraft is completely detachable to make it easy to transport by road. Nderitu hopes to test it in the coming days.
