Atomic Tom uses iPhones and instrument simulators to create a remarkable subway performance.

Proving again that apps may be able to replace full size musical instruments, Atomic Tom has opted to make a one time subway-only performance that can be played on demand for infinity on the Internet. Forgoing instruments for iPhone apps, the group staged a half-disruptive performance of “Take Me Out” for subway riders recently. While this may be a blatant attempt at creating a viral video, as inventive as usual subway performers can be, the quality of the performance should not be shirked.
