A sign the PSFK team spotted on a New York subway highlights the new voting system being implemented in the city for the forthcoming local elections. With the new system voters will mark their choices on a paper ballot using a pen, and then will insert their marked ballot into a scanner. The scanner will be able to tabulate the votes quickly after the polls close on Election Day.
