News Corp’s social network is transforming into a "social entertainment destination."

Myspace is launching its beta version at 12:00 PST today to a select group of users, and will be available worldwide in November. The site has had a serious makeover including a new logo, a new welcome page, a more modest color palette and a general product reorientation.

Forbes reports:

“Myspace has plucked the best attributes from all the existing [social] sites out there now and curated them as their own content revamp, which is definitely an upgrade for what was once an eyesore of an experience.”
