BCKCHNL is a new Twitter search app developed by the UK-based digital design studio, Nation, in collaboration with Alasdair Monk. Short for Back Channel, the app has a simple, clean interface that works well with 2nd screens such as projection displays and tablet devices.

It features a blank text area where you can enter any search term or hash-tag to start watching tweets associated with them. BCKCHNL refreshes its searched feed constantly and can also be used to pull in multiple search terms. Users can even search for tweets by simply adding their search term at the end of the app’s URL (, which means they don’t have to enter into Back Channel’s homepage.
