Two products offer ways to communicate the digital history of the deceased.

The E-tomb concept, created by designers Huang Jianbo, Zhao Ting, Wang Yushan, Ran Xiangfei and Mo Ran, is a high tech tombstone for the information age. Memorable data such as blog posts, tweets and websites are uploaded into the tombstone, which is equipped with solar panels and Bluetooth, allowing family members to access this information via their phones using RFID.

The designers explain:

Its revolutionary aspect is that it can save the network information of the person passed away. E-TOMB is a good destination of people’s network life voyage, which is also a new way for relatives and friends in remembrance of the one passed away. They can visit the blog or facebook of the decedent by using mobile phones.
