While it does come across as being a little impractical, the FlyRad unicycle presents a novel way for individual transportation. It was invented by Thomas Rank and comes in 3 sizes. To steer, the user must use their in-line skates. Weight is distributed nicely as the user can sit, stand, or squat and be dragged along the road by the machine. The FlyRad recently won a silver medal from the iENA 2010 in Germany and is planned to be available to the public in 2011. FlyRad [via Gizmag]
