A short film follows Casey Neistat as he trains for the 2010 NYC Marathon.

Filmmaker and runner Casey Neistat presents a thought-provoking first-person perspective of all the simultaneous thoughts that speed through a runner’s head while training, in his short film Mind Games.

Commissioned by Nike as a way of showing support for creativity through sport, the two-and-a-half minute film was written years ago when Casey began running and was shot for three weeks while he trained for the 2010 New York City Marathon. This great example of DIY filmmaking effectively showcases the mental hurdles a runner needs to overcome when he devotes himself completely to the sport.
