Artists Laura Spector and Chadwick Gray recreate mashups of famous paintings onto the human body.

Artist duo Laura Spector and Chadwick Gray's work,  Museum Anatomy are a series of photographs of paintings from museums across the globe that have been recreated in such elaborate detail onto Chadwick's body that it is difficult to identify the human form in the photos.

Chadwick and Spector rightly describe their work as:

The recreated paintings of these historic portraits recapture the subjects in their own moment in history. The resulting photographs reveal a unification of art combining antiquity, history and technology in a contemporary context.
