Urbee: The World’s First 3D-Printed Car

An extremely efficient hybrid vehicle concept has been produced using rapid prototyping technology.

Urbee has been designed as am extremely efficient two-seater hybrid vehicle by engineering company Kor Ecologic Inc. The car’s body parts have entirely been made from 3D printers and it has been envisioned as an environmentally sustainable, safe to drive and fuel efficient vehicle, running both on solar energy and ethanol. Urbee will be displayed at the 2010 SEMA Show that starts today in Las Vegas.
