Pop Up Inflatables Settle Down For Domestic Use (Pics)

London based Airclad capitalise on the growing trend for ephemeral installation to champion inflatable architectural extension

London based Airclad has set it sights on bringing pop up architecture to the domestic market via it’s inflatable Airpod.

The Airpod’s eco – conscientious design will appeal to those mindful of their carbon footprint, and Airclad envisions applications for their architectures as wide ranging as rooftop or garden offices or even as a seasonal family home.

While cost considerations remain, the Airpod does points to new, effort-free, ways to reinvent one’s urban space.
