In Brief
Footlocker launches the first online collaborative sneaker archive.
Footlocker has launched what they hope will grow to be the largest online sneaker archive in the world. Sneakerpedia is a community run “by sneakerheads, for sneakerheads” and “powered by Footlocker.” Those who love their kicks are encouraged to photograph their collections, upload the photos, and then tag the sneakers so the archive can be easily searched. Enthusiasts will be able to search by stitching, materials, lining, and even by which celebrities wear which styles.
