Designer Fung Kwok Pan transforms rugged raw materials into a body-hugging piece of furniture.

Using materials normally reserved for industrial applications, Singapore designer Fung Kwok Pan has created the “Concretus Chair.” The chair is made of small concrete tiles that are connected by pieces of stainless steel wiring. The flexible design conforms to the body of those sitting in the chair, providing an unusual level of comfort considering the unusual components.
