3D printing company, i.materialise has produced a line of remarkable lamps.

Belgium based, i.materialise is an online 3D printing service, offering personalized options to customers interested in having their own unique design brought to life. Recent work includes the Mylight.MGX, which is now part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum.

Other lamps were designed for a Lamp Challenge with Google SketchUp. The winning entry, the 3D Maze by Corre, is a simple maze design that diffuses light.

i.materialise also offers customization of their own Appear Lamp. Comprised of polyamide, Appear reveals individualized text atop the lamp only when the light is turned on.
