Dutch designer Carolien Laro’s new collection Spring Wood is a series of solid wood-made stools with flexible seating surfaces. The flexibility was developed by a complex process of cutting and machining the wood in CNCs, creating slits into the wood’s surfaces.

Laro’s collection, which won her the Wood Challenge Prize, includes a three-seater bench and a couple of stools with and without wheels, but all with flexible wooden seats.
