At last night's NYC Tech Meetup, we were introduced to a new social media site called VYou that allows people to have asynchronous video conversations online, asking questions and recording directed responses which can be shared publicly or among a select group of friends.

At last night's NYC Tech Meetup, we were introduced to a new social media site called VYou that allows people to have asynchronous video conversations online, asking questions and recording directed responses which can be shared publicly or among a select group of friends. Put that all together and you've got a hybrid service, combining messaging, chat and creation reminiscent of the random interaction enabled by the now defunct Chatroulette mixed with the broadcast capabilities of YouTube and just a bit of the structure offered by Skype.
