The acclaimed director explains the importance of risks to individual fulfillment and success.

Legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola recently sat down for a conversational round table with budding local filmmakers at the Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco. 99Percent was present for the discussion and provided excerpts of what Coppola shared with the class. Considering film's humble beginnings as an experimental art form, he lamented the business it had become and the lack of willingness by studios to take major risks with original projects.
