Maker community offers a novel way to share contact information.

The innovative maker culture over at Instructables have come up with a tech heavy reinvention of the business card. Their latest project is interesting as it makes use of an optical effect known as persistence of vision, where the after effects of light build up to generate a visible image.

The effort to relay your business card to prospective acquaintances will probably leave more of a lasting impression than the tech wizardry used to build it, requiring as it does a darkened room and you to swing your arm in a giant circle to generate the image (see video below)
