Warner Bros. partners with the social network to screen films online.

Facebook has joined forces, yet again, to ensure that users never, ever have to leave their property. Partnering with Warner Bros., the social networking site has offered themselves as a conduit for movie rentals. For 30 Facebook credits, the equivalent of three dollars, the user will be able to rent a film, watch it full screen, and pause it at their will, for a 48 hour period.

Right now, Warner Bros. is still testing out the project, screening only Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. But this new service is certain to offer Netflix some serious competition.
