A proposed addition to the airport would dramatically alter the culinary dynamic of LAX via a return to local wares.

A proposal has been tabled which would seen a revival of the 77 year old Third and Fairfax Farmer’s Market at Terminal 5 of Los Angeles airport:

“The LAX market will sell vegetables, fruit, snacks and drinks from some of its mother market’s longtime merchants, including Russian sweets, breads and rolls from T & Y Bakery; fresh pecans, walnuts, macadamia nuts and peanut butter from Magee’s House of Nuts; and every hot sauce you can imagine from purveyor Light My Fire”
