PSFK recently reached out to our global network of experts on The Purple List for their thoughts on the limits of digitization. We were interested to discover whether they believed there exist certain experiences, objects, or actions that will never take on a digital form, and conversely, if there are missed opportunities for digitization of processes that thus far have remained analog. Here are a few highlights from our experts:

As someone who draws nearly every day working on design projects, analog and digital are methods I both use to achieve results depending on criteria for each project. I don’t think at this point one is better than the other. And often you can’t tell the difference between sketches I’ve done on paper and those done digitally via a Wacom tablet.
