Vintage Polaroid Camera Repurposed As LED Lamp
Chicago-based designer Dan Riordan has made creative use of archaic technology.
Dan Riordan, a Chicago-based designer had a novel idea one morning when he picked up his Polaroid Land Camera 95A and transformed it into a lamp. His LED-powered, hand-crafted lamps contain a dimming feature for adjusting brightness and also come equipped with bulbs that last up to 50,000 hours. They are available on Riordan’s C.E. Cork Lighting Co. store on Etsy for $150, but are currently out of stock at the moment. Keep checking back at the store or get inspired to create your own.
