On his Tumblr called Afrographique, South African based designer, Ivan Colic creates infographics that graphically depict the many economic, technological, and environmental developments on the continent. The images range from depictions of mobile and Internet usage, Facebook user stats for the largest nations to CO2 emissions. Describing the site as his “small contribution to assist the changing perception of Africa and its people”, Afrographique is devoted to visualizing African data with offerings that provide a glimpse into current trends which could prove a beneficial education on the status and future of Africa.
