From Content Provider To Lifestyle Curator
Thrillist publisher Ben Lerer talks to PSFK about curation strategy, deal services and targeting a new audience.
Ben Lerer was one of the speakers at our recent PSFK CONFERENCE NY 2011. Ben is the Publisher of Thrillist, the online subscription website which delivers daily emails to a young, male audience currently boasting 2.4 million users since it’s launch in 2005. With Daily Deal websites such as Groupon and Gilt Groupe providing more content to create context for it’s sales, Thrillist goes from content provider to lifestyle curator, now providing deals and discounts for it’s readers. Thrillist Rewards launched to 100,00 New York subscribers and expects to roll out into other markets soon.
