Finnish design brand Marimekko celebrated their 60 years of ‘happiness, colors and relationships’ with a crowdsourced exhibit in Milan and an accompanying design book. With founder Armi Rata once saying ‘I always wanted to gather people to get them to know each other, enrich their experience and take advantage from this knowledge,’ it’s very fitting that the brand would decide to celebrate their anniversary in the very digitized, collaborative and social age with a crowdsourced campaign.
