A former car plant in the north of France is being re-purposed as a sustainable learning center.

A former Renault factory in the north of France is slated to become a ‘living' school. The design incorporates a sloping green roof that extends to every level. Classrooms are inside, but overlooking an outdoor public recreation area that appears to be the centerpiece of the concept. Indigenous plant species will be re-introduced, which will hopefully attract birds and other wildlife back to what once were inhospitable grounds.
