The new Facebook app lets you make free calls to any of your friends around the world.

Mobile carrier T-Mobile has launched a new app for Facebook called Boblsled that lets users chat to their friends on the social networking site. There is no need to dial a number, you just click on a friend's name to start the conversation. You can also leave a private voice message for them if they are unavailable or post a public voice message on their wall for everyone to hear.

A recent Internet survey conducted by Vivox and T-Mobile found that 88% of Facebook users wanted voice chat capabilities within the site. Bobsled positions T-Mobile as a leading provider of cloud-based communications on the Internet and expands its reach to more than 500 million Facebook users worldwide.
