The Landshare network has exploded over the last two years, and is now taking off down under.

PSFK first wrote about land sharing website Landshare back in 2009.  The online resource dedicated to connecting food cultivation enthusiasts with those willing to share a little unused land now counts over 60,000 ‘growers, sharers and helpers’ in its network since its inception two years ago.

Landshare Australia is the latest addition to the food-growing network.  Headed by ‘passionate gardener’s’ Dan Abbink and Phil Dudman the venture has attracted more than 800 members country-wide since January this year. Phil Dudman talks about the project:
