A Chevy El Camino is modified to integrate a wood-burning stove as its energy source.

Amid the movement toward sustainable energy resources, Finnish designer Juhas Sipilä takes a traditional spin on car fuel as he unveils his “El Kamina,” literally meaning “The Stove:” a car completely powered by burning wood off of a woodgas engine. The El Kamina is said to be capable of travel 125 miles on 175 pounds of wood.
