To engage an audience of design professionals and enthusiasts, furniture design company Herman Miller is on a mission to create new and frequent content that isn’t just product-centric, but really speaks to larger design issues, practices and points of view.

The first effort is a celebration of five California architects’ perspective on design, in a series Herman Miller are calling POV (Points of View). Each interview explores core design elements behind each architect’s work including celebrated buildings like the Marmol Radziner Desert Prefab house and the Cigolle x Coleman TR+2 StudioHouse. The architects behind these homes talk in each video through their approach, materials, and the exploration of the relationship between a site and home. Here’s the trailer:
