Designer Jamie McMahon creates a more pleasant alternative to the digital alarm clock

Perhaps as a response to our digitally over-saturated world, Jamie McMahon has designed a concept for an acoustic alarm clock. Its design mimics that of a small guitar with strings set across the face of the instrument and a set of tuning knobs fit for customization on its top.  At the set time, a pick will strum the strings offering a more soothing alternative to the grating beeps and buzzes of a traditional digital alarm clock.
