London’s Victoria and Albert Museum recently announced the winner of their annual Illustration Awards. Olivier Kugler won the top overall award for his 30-page illustrated documentary of a truck driver’s journey across Iran. The work was originally published as part of the French quarterly XXI. Kugler’s work typically resembles drawn-from-life sketchbook pages blended with comic book style narration. Click on the images to check them out in more detail.
