Software development company Visidon provides Android users with a way to protect their mobile phones using face recognition as a way to increase the device’s privacy. Using Visidon Applock, you can add extra protection to any app you choose (SMS, e-mail, gallery, etc) and they will only open after verifying your face. It uses your phone’s front-facing camera to match your face to the one set to grant access. If someone else tries to use the protected app, they will be turned down and asked for password verification, if they can’t provide this they’ll be denied access.
