The pizza delivery chain aims to widen its appeal with new menu options.

Britain's biggest pizza delivery/ takeaway chain Domino's Pizza recently saw it's like-for-like sales increase by 3.4%. This has been attributed to the current economic climate, with many customers staying in and ordering takeaways rather than going out to eat. Also, there has been a greater proportion of people ordering over the internet and a new, more expensive, stuffed-crust pizza has been introduced to rival Pizza Hut, which provided 14% of all sales.

Domino's Pizza has now announced it will be offering a new selection of thin-crust gourmet Italian pizzas in the Autumn, for those with a bigger budget who usually eat at places like Strada and Pizza Express. The chief executive, Chris Moore, said:
