A new outdoor installation gives commuters a little jolt of happiness in the often gloomy morning ride by putting park slides on train platforms.

Train commuters in the city of Overvecht in the Netherlands have been offered the choice of the taking the stairs, or using a slide to access the station platform.  Wild Ink reports the workmen finishing construction on the project have already seen two people using the ‘transfer chute’ kid-inspired stair alternative. A great example of gamification taking place in the real world, not just online.
