Overfishing and ocean acidification begs the question, is this the beginning of the end for the vertebrate ecology?

A combination of overfishing and ocean acidification (caused by rising concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere) have created the perfect conditions for this shift from an eco-system dominated by fish to an eco-system dominated by jellyfish. The Guardian
