Renault Frendzy Concept Is A Rolling Digital Display

Switching from weekday commercial vehicle to weekend family hauler is what Renault designed the Frendzy to do.

Renault has offered a sneak peek at the new Frendzy concept they will debut later this fall at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. The all electric multi-purpose micro van concept was created to show how a vehicle might transform from a weekday commercial vehicle to a weekend family hauler. A large external digital display can project a company logo or advertising.

The interior features fold away passenger seating to maximize cargo carrying space. There’s also a large interior touch screen which can be used to record messages or as a digital drawing board for kids. Many of the Frendzy’s interior controls are accessed via a tablet which plugs in to the instrument panel. Below is a short video showing some of these features in action.
